For Oklahoma Pork to be successful and secure, countless industries, businesses, and individual producers must be aligned, informed, and all working together to make biosecurity a top priority.


Key Message:

Foreign animal diseases may represent the single most significant threat to our industry, in that they can happen suddenly, without warning, and have a far-reaching impact on every aspect of the Oklahoma Pork Industry.

The best way to mitigate the impact of a foreign animal disease outbreak, is to prevent the outbreak from starting. Proper preparation, education, and precaution are the best tools we have to fight FADs and practicing proper biosecurity procedures is the responsibility of everyone who works in this industry.
